Happy Anniversary Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane

Oh I hope not Ms. Sayers. I know I’ve learnt all the tricks but while I can hardly sit through an episode of Monk or Psych without solving the crime in the first five minutes, I find great value in reading and reading yet again a good detective story.
We have to thank Dorothy L Sayers for giving us Lord Peter Wimsey. She must have had a cheat sheet on Lord Peter because he is well loved. Today we celebrate his wedding anniversary of his marriage to Harriet Vane whom he married on October 8, 1937 in Sayers’ novel, Busman’s Honeymoon.
